Media Training
Dealing with the media can be a stressful experience. It's your opportunity to get your message out to the public, but if you get it wrong it can reflect very badly on you and your organisation.
I have 25 years experience of producing news and current affairs programmes and have all the inside information on how to handle the media - radio, television, print and online. I work with professional journalists and technicians to deliver training of the highest quality that delivers results. Training can be delivered in Welsh, English or bilingually.
All training is tailored to the client's specific needs but a typical course might include an introduction to the various media; what makes a good news story; how to write an effective press release; how to handle interview requests; what are the various kinds of interview; and one-to-one practice sessions with an experienced news presenter.
Past clients include: The Law Society; Snowdonia National Park Authority; Older People's Commissioner for Wales; British Heart Foundation Cymru; Barnados Cymru; Kidney Wales; RNIB; RNID; Plaid Cymru; Welsh Conservative Party; Muslim Youth Wales; Consumer Focus; Oxfam Cymru.

Professional and appropriate advice that helped the staff to communicate in interviews in a way that was more easily understood. This kind of media training is very valuable and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
